We understand that the uncertainty of the current global situation may affect your plans to come to Lapland. We offer all our guests large flexibility to handle their bookings if they cannot join the tour due to Covid-19 reasons. This way, you can book your next holidays safely, without having to worry about the evolution of the global travel situation.
Our Covid-19 guarantee offers you different options to get refunded or to postpone your booking without any additional fees.

If you cannot travel because of travel restrictions
In the unfortunate event that you are not able to come to Finland due to Covid-19 travel restrictions (including home region lockdown, forbidden transit, flight cancellationss due to travel restrictions), we offer you the possibility to postpone your tours to another date without any additional fees. You may then freely postpone your booking to another month or to the following year (2021-2022). You may also change the booking for an equivalent tour if you decide to come at a different period of the year (for example in summer instead of winter).
This guarantee applies :
✓ For bookings made on our website (www.wildaboutlapland.com) or via our sales team ([email protected]) AND operated by Wild About Lapland. For tours operated by our trusted partners or sold by third-parties, a specific policy may apply (please contact us).
✓ And if the change request is sent to our sales team ([email protected]) more than 48 hours before the tour. You may be requested to provide evidence of your impossibility to travel.
If the guarantee does not apply or if you prefer to cancel the booking, our standard cancellation policy will apply. Cancellation fees will therefore apply depending on how early the cancellation request occur (less than 24h prior the tour: 100% ; between 24h-7 days : 50% ; more than 7 days : 10%). However, retained cancellation fees can be later used as a credit to re-book activities with us. This way, you never lose money!
If you are tested positive to Covid-19 and cannot enter Finland
If you are tested positive to Covid-19 less than 72 hours before your flight arrival or less than 14 days before your tour (documents may be requested), we offer you two options:
– you may cancel your booking and get a full refund,
– you may postpone your tour to another date without any additional fees.
If you are travelling with other people and they are tested negative, we also offer them two options :
– they may postpone their tour to another date without any additional fees,
– they may cancel their booking. Our standard cancellation policy will apply, however any retained cancellation fees may later be used as a credit to re-book activities with us. This way, you never lose money!
Please note that those guaratees only apply to bookings made on our website (www.wildaboutlapland.com) or via our sales team ([email protected]) AND operated by Wild About Lapland. For tours operated by our trusted partners or sold by third-parties, a specific policy may apply (please contact us). Please also note that, for the guarantee to apply, the change/cancellation request shall be sent to [email protected] at least 24 hours befoe the tour departure.
If your flight is cancelled
If your flight is cancelled for any another reason than travel restrictions (for example, the airline has cancelled your ticket because the flight does not have enough passengers), we encourage you to check with your airline company as they have an obligation to offer the possibility to rebook a new flight. In this case, you may reschedule your tours with us to another date (even to the next year) without additional fees. Please contact us at least 24h before your tour starts to request the change (any change is subject to availability).
If you prefer to cancel the tour, our standard cancellation policy (mentioned on your ticket and in the tour description) will apply and cancellation fees will be retained to cover administrative fees. We recommend you to check with your travel insurance in this case.
