My name is Yen, I am originally from Taiwan. I came to Finland for the first time in 2014 as an exchange student and fell in love with this country. I came back again for my studies and thought it would be nice to work at a place where I can do what I like. Lapland is a beautiful place with magnificent nature. I’m very happy to be here and meeting new people all over the world.  

Passions: skiing, snowshoeing and hunting for northern lights.
Languages: Chinese, English and a bit of Finnish.

I am Alexia, I am 26 and I am French.
I am living in Lapland for more than one year now, I love the nature here.
I met Theo last summer and I am really happy to work for Wild About Lapland this winter. I like working here, because it’s a small company and small groups of customers, so it means more time with people and more fun to enjoy Lapland all together.
Passions: animals, nature, Alpine skiing.
Languages: French, English, a bit of Spanish.

I am Croatian. I’m a father of three cats, I like the doggos also. I like to bike, hike, catch a pike and goal to strike.
I met Theo 2.5 years ago but was working in another company last season, gave him a call last October and here I am. Running the tours under the motto: If you wanna do it big, you gotta do it with style.
Passions: animals, snowmobiling, snowshoeing.
Languages: Croatian, can speak/understand all ex-yu plus some of the Balkans, English, German (speak/understand “ein bisschen”), Latin languages (can talk with hands and legs), Finnish (only a few unnecessary words).

My name is Luka, I’m an exchange student from Slovenia studying tourism at the University of Lapland. I came to Rovaniemi because I love nature and animals, I like meeting new people and experiencing new things. For that same reason, I decided to start working for Wild About Lapland.

My name is Veselin, I’m from Bulgaria.
I’m a licensed mountain and tour guide. I have 4 years of experience guiding around Balkan countries and Caucasian mountains.
Mostly I do hiking, mountain biking, kayaking from beginners to advanced level. Also, I have been guiding groups on Via Ferrata and canyoning.
Аs a tour guide I’m doing a cultural, rural, wine tasting and historical tours around Bulgaria. I’m a founder of the “Campfirebg”- tour agency based in Bulgaria.
I have done several courses, educating people about mountaineering. 
I came to Lapland because I like wild places, winter and doing my job at the same time. It was also my dream to see the Aurora. I knew that I will meet cool people here.
Passions: cross-country skiing, backcountry skiing, free ride snowboarding, rock climbing, nature, extreme exploring, photography.

My name is Matous Bahensky, and I am coming from a small city northeast of the Czech Republic called Opava. To Finland, I came 3 years ago to work as a snowmobile guide in Saariselka and I’m coming back here every winter since that. I love nature in here… I also have to say that I love working In WAL because it has a good team and communication is always clear. In summer I’m working as a canyoning and kayaking guide in Slovenia, which means I am always close to the loud water, so for me to be in Lappish nature is amazingly peaceful and quiet. I also always like to meet new people.
Passions: traveling, outdoor sports, food.

My name is Kira, 26 years old, born and raised in that tiny crowded country called the Netherlands. After studying wildlife management and working from behind a desk for about a year, I decided to try outdoor guiding in spacious, beautiful Finland. I love nature and love to learn people about it, fitting the Wild About Lapland profile.
I met Theo via a colleague from the previous company we both worked. Telling me about his company, the small groups and the educational value of the tours, I got interested. One summer day he needed some help and that is how I started working for Wild About Lapland. 
Passions: outdoor activities, hiking, snowshoeing, socializing with people.

After serving in the Royal Marine Commando’s for 5 years and working as a professional Sailing & Outdoor Instructor, I was looking for a place to fulfil my vision and dreams. I found it here in the Finnish Lapland, where I can share the natural phenomena, opportunities, and beauty this amazing place has to offer.
Passions: climbing, sailing, canoeing, survival techniques and outdoor enthusiast

My name is Inga, I am from Estonia. I am studying for a master’s degree at the University of Lapland. During my bachelor’s degree, I did exchange studies in Hungary and Mexico. After, when I went back to Estonia, I felt that I did not belong there anymore and wanted to experience something new again. So I chose Northern Finland. After been living in many different countries I also enjoy working in an international environment.
Passions: reading, outdoor, hiking.
