Gábor
Guide
Hi, I’m Gábor from Hungary! Firstly I came to Finland 10 years ago, as an Erasmus student, where I studied tourism. That time I had the possibility to visit Lapland 2 times. It was love at the first sight, and I already knew, I have to come back here later. And now, here I am. Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland is my home for more than 3 years. As a nature enthusiast, I have everything here, what I need: (okay, maybe a bit less of warm weather :-)) never-ending forests, crystal clear fresh air and beautiful surroundings. Lapland has countless treasures, and I am more than happy to show them to you!
Passions: Cycling, hiking, nature photography and Aurora hunting.
Languages: Hungarian, English and a bit of Finnish.

Emilia
Guide
After spending a few years abroad I decided it was time to move back to Finland and start a new adventure here, this time in Lapland. I moved from Southern Finland to Rovaniemi to study Tourism research, and what better way is there to get to know the field I am studying than to work in it. As a guide I also get to explore new places and see parts of Lapland I otherwise wouldn’t have discovered.
Passions: Hiking, photography, traveling.
Languages: Swedish, Finnish, English, German, French (un peu).

Guillaume
Guide
After being a teacher and a volunteer firefighter in France I have decided to follow my dream and moved to Finnish Lapland in 2019. Since then I have been working for several companies as a tourist guide and dog sledding instructor. I now settled in Rovaniemi and will be happy to take you for a tour to share my passion for getting lost in the wild. I’m the proud dad of Duke, a 6 years old Alaskan husky who follows me in all of my adventures!
Passions: Hiking, outdoor sports, dogs, all kind of handycrafts.
Languages: French, English, Finnish in progress, Polish in progress.

Duke
Mascot
Hi, I am Duke. I am a 6 years old Alaskan husky and I am a sled dog. I was born in a Finnish husky kennel that ceased its activity and my dad Guillaume took me with him. I now follow him in his adventures, and even most of the time lead the way in front of his bike or skis. In winter, I am working with him and the clients.
Passions: Being petted, pulling sleds, sniffing around.
Languages: Howling, squeaking, but mute most of the time.

Moritz
Guide
Hi, I am Moritz from Germany. I am an exchange student at the University of Applied Sciences in Rovaniemi. Before my studies in timber engineering, I did an apprenticeship as a carpenter. Nature, especially timber and forests have fascinated me my whole life. I love the adventure of guiding and giving people the experience of Finnish nature.
Passions: Carpentry and construction work, hiking, mountain-biking, volleyball (inside, beach, snow everywhere).
Languages: German, English, un petit peu French.

Maria
Guide
Oh, it’s my turn!? Hello! My name is Maria, some like to call me Maria la Portuguesa since I’m a proud Portuguese. I grew up next to the seaside and was always surrounded by tourists – I fell in love with the field! I had some experiences in Portugal, but I wanted to put myself on a bigger challenge. So here I am and probably one of the youngest in the team, I studied tourism, and almost 2 years ago, I left my home town to work abroad, first into the warm summer of Spain and then directly to the cold of Rovaniemi! (I literally passed from 28°C to -5°C). I loved this job so much that I came back!
Passions: Sunset/sunrise watching, and since a year ago Northern Lights, hiking, photography, music (get ready for my playlists).
Languages: Portuguese, English and Spanish.
