Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your accommodation, where you’ll be provided with winter clothing and boots to keep you warm on the ice. Upon arrival at the Silver Birch Resort, a short walk through snowy forest paths will bring you to the lake. Your guide will show you how to drill a hole in the ice and teach you the fishing methods locals have used for generations. Then you can relax, enjoy the snowy scenery, and wait for a fish to bite.
Should you be lucky enough to land a fine catch, the restaurant’s chef will prepare it fresh for you – turning your moment of triumph into the highlight of your meal. No matter the day’s fishing fortune, you’ll enjoy a steaming bowl of hearty soup with fresh bread in the Silver Birch Resort restaurant The Birch, surrounded by the beauty of Lapland. This is ice fishing and Arctic dining at its most authentic – where adventure meets comfort in one unforgettable experience.
Not recommended for participants with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions. A small amount of walking in the cold may be involved. The tour operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. Cold weather clothing and boots can be provided if needed. A maximum of 8 people per booking.
