Meet us in
Rovaniemi!

We're based right here in Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland and the official home of Santa Claus. From our doorstep, the Arctic Circle is just a few minutes away — and the Taiga forests, frozen lakes and Northern Lights skies are ours to share with you.

We keep our groups small and our guides passionate, because the real magic of Lapland isn't found in a crowd. It's found in the silence of the snow, the crackle of a campfire, and the stories told around it. Come find us — we'd love to show you our corner of the Arctic.

Our main office is located at 24 Rovakatu, 96200 Rovaniemi (FINLAND). Come and let’s plan your next great experience together!

When Is the Best Time to Hike in Rovaniemi?

The short answer: all year round. But each season in Lapland has its own character, and what you’ll see on the trail changes with it.

  • Winter: Winter (December–March) is all about snow. Expect frozen lakes, snow-laden pines, and trails that turn into silent white corridors. Daylight is short, but the blue hour light is extraordinary — and the northern lights can join you on evening hikes from September through early April.
  • Spring: (April–May) brings the longer days back. The snow is still there in April, but by May the rivers are breaking up, migratory birds are returning, and the forest starts to wake.
  • Summer: (June–August) is the season of the midnight sun. You can hike at any hour of the day or night, and the landscape is green, warm, and full of life — from wild berries to fresh air that smells of pine and peat.
  • Autumn: (September–October) is ruska — Lapland’s golden season. The forests turn red, orange, and yellow almost overnight, and the air is crisp and cool. It’s our favourite time of year for hiking, and many guests tell us it becomes theirs too.
Hiking in Rovaniemi is for everyone

All our hiking tours start from our office in central Rovaniemi, and your guide will take it from there. Depending on the tour, you’ll head into the forest by minivan or on foot — either way, you’ll always be in a small group of no more than eight.

We provide any specialist gear you may need for the season, including warm winter clothing for the colder months, so you don’t have to worry about arriving with a full Arctic wardrobe. Hot drinks and a campfire snack or lunch are part of every tour, along with your guide’s stories, knowledge of the land, and time to take it all in at your own pace.

If you’d like to know more about what’s included on a specific tour, or you’re not sure which one is the right fit, just get in touch — we’ll help you figure it out.
