13 March 2020: Friday 13 brought us luck… and Northern lights !

After a week of difficult weather conditions and cloudy skies, this Friday 13 was announcing good omens. We had checked the weather reports every day for a week and had ticked that date on the calendar. The conditions were optimal to observe the Northern Lights : clear sky, little moon and good solar activity…

Not much else was then needed but a good team  to enjoy a delightful evening together with Lady Aurora. Some of our guests even brought French champagne, so she could definitely not miss the party!

And she came ! Gracious and beautiful, moving slowly across the sky. She stayed with us for a while, danced a bit, and disappeared….
